On spice tour in East Africa
For the Geo Quiz, we’re looking for an island off the coast of East Africa. 50 years ago, it joined up with the former African colony named Tanganyika. Together they became the United Republic of Tanzania.
But the island’s name has always conjured up an exotic faraway place and it shows up in an old Hollywood film starring crooners Bob Hope and Bing Crosby.
