Humiliated after the “Black Hawk Down” incident in Somalia in 1993, there has been a reluctance by the US to commit troops there. But the country is mostly run by an Islamist group that some see as a threat. So, the problem has been “outsourced” to private companies. Anchor Lisa Mullins talks to Jeffrey Gettleman, East Africa bureau chief of the New York Times.
