For today’s Geo Quiz, we were looking for an area of Ethiopia rich in fossils. The answer is the Afar Rift in northeastern Ethiopia. That’s where scientists found a 4.4 million-year-old hominid skeleton that’s revealing more clues about human evolution. Anchor Werman speaks with palaeontologist Tim White and evolutionary biologist Owen Lovejoy about their findings, published today in the journal Science.’
