Turtles Find Themselves in the Middle of Political Rift in Cyprus

Sea turtles on the island of Cyprus are endangered because of politics that divide the island’s Greeks and Turks, their governments and their scientists. The turtles nest on both sides of the island, and they’re threatened by human activities on both sides of the island as well.
