The Kremlin offered little warmth and no congratulations but instead he condemned the U.S. for its selfish policies and blamed it for the financial crisis. He also issued a warning about the missile defense shield in Poland and the Czech Republic. This political analyst believes Obama could make a good start by focusing on energy issues or terrorism because both countries share the same problems and interests, but if he focuses on Kosovo or Georgia, things won’t be as easy.
