The National are a band from Brooklyn, New York by way of Cincinnati, Ohio whose most recent album Boxer was one of the most acclaimed records of 2007. It received rave reviews from just about every major music publication, and it ended up in the top ten of the Village Voice’s annual poll of music critics.
