Mission Accomplished

Studio 360

In December 2013, teacher and sound designerGabriel Walkerresolved to get back into music, with the goal of forming a band and performing a showcaseby the end of 2014.

December Update:
Whew! Did it! New Year’s resolution resolved. I had no idea how I’d get to Louisville, find work, a place to live, a band, a rehearsal space, and a performance venue…but persistence, serendipity, and the support of a lot of good people brought about results that exceeded my expectations and hopes. I started with the idea of playing old jazz standards, but ended up collaborating with Jenrose Fitzgeraldon new music inspired by old standards. The bandwas very well received (tremendous audience feedback) and we had a blast.
