Pentagon Report Points at China’s Military Ambitions

On Monday the Pentagon released a report for the first time openly accusing the Chinese military of cyberattacks on government computer systems.

The report also detailed the development of the Chinese military’s hardware from their first stealth aircraft to their first aircraft carrier.

China’s military buildup shows no sign of slowing, said Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense David Helvey.

This all comes in the wake of some aggressive moves by the Chinese in disputed regions in the Japanese-controlled Senkaku islands as well as along the border with India.
