Jack Handey was a staff writer on Saturday Night Live for many years, where he created “Deep Thoughts” – the dark and surreal ramblings that appeared as text onscreen, like some kind of Hallmark card on acid. He went on to write a series of Deep Thoughts books, and humor essays for The New Yorker, Playboy, and other magazines. Faith Salie speaks with the exciting and mysterious Jack Handey on Fair Game.
