India finally gets Olympic gold
India is celebrating its first Olympic gold medal in 28 years, as Abhinav Bindra won the 10-meter air rifle event in Beijing. The BBC’s Tinku Ray tells us more about “India’s Goldfinger.”

The man at the center of all the attention, Abhinav Bindra, seems unfazed by it all. Abhinav Bindra’s father says he has made his country proud. The father supported his son in a big way, and funded trips to Germany to let him practice, for example.
