Inside the Beltway, debate rages on about the size of the federal budget. But whatever is finally agreed, the real pain will be felt far from Washington – it’ll play out in much poorer parts of the country. Kentucky, for example, relies heavily on government spending. For every dollar it raises in taxes, it gets back one and a half. Our partner the BBC has been to Somerset, KY to see how the debate is playing out in the Bluesgrass State.
