Thailand Blasts: ‘Iranian’ Bomber Injured in Bangkok

The World

A man thought to be Iranian has had both legs blown off after attempting to throw a bomb at police in the Thai capital, Bangkok, officials say.

Two other explosions were reported in the same busy commercial district of the city, injuring four other people.

Anchor Marco Werman talks with Paul Pillar, a former US intelligence officer, about the explosions.

Israel says they are linked to Monday’s attacks in India and Georgia against Israeli targets. Iran, in turn, has accused Israel of assassinating its nuclear scientists.
