Syrian security forces are shelling rebel-held areas of Homs, as the UN’s secretary general prepares to set out plans for a larger monitoring mission.
Activists said mortars were landing in the restive central city, which has been under almost continuous attack since a ceasefire began last Thursday.
One group put Wednesday’s death toll at 15, including seven in Homs.
