In the first US Presidential debate, Republican candidate Mitt Romney attacked the Obama Administration’s economic record.

Romney said he did not want the US to “go down the path to Spain.”

In the second Presidential debate, Romney took aim again at Europe’s economic woes. Four more years of President Obama’s policies, he argued, would put America on “the road to Greece.”

That got us wondering – what is the economic situation in Greece right now, and where does Europe stand in terms of sorting out its financial problems.
