A sun-splashed island in the southern Caribbean Sea figures in today’s Geo Quiz.
It could be called a transcontinental island.
It is located off the coast if Venezuela in South America, but it is also one of the islands in the West Indies, which are considered part of North America.
The island also has a dual identity. It is both, an autonomous country and part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
And now, some islanders have stepped forward to honor rock-n-roll legend Peter Frampton.
Curaçao is the answer to the Geo Quiz.
Anchor Marco Werman talks to Ghatim Kabbara, who runs the tourism board in Curaçao. Kabbara helped Frampton reunite with the guitar that he used in “Do You Feel Like We Do.”
