Researchers in Sweden found the pulses of choir members rise and fall in synchronization, depending on the piece of music they’re performing. During some pieces, choir members tend to deep breathe in unison, for example, lowering their heart rate. Jane Money, artistic and education director of the Boston City Singers, tells anchor Marco Werman about how she goes about synchronizing the breathing and voices of dozens of child singers.
