Sweden’s The Amazing, has echoes of 1960s California pop rock and 70s British folk rock on their debut album “Gentle Stream”.
Christoffer Gunrup and Reine Fiske are two of the band members.
Their music has both an expansive, spatial quality to it as well as a strong pop sensibility.
Fiske says the music just “flows” when they play.
Grunrup adds there’s sometimes an “Olympic feel” to it because their music is so epic.
