In a new documentary produced by our partner, the BBC, senior American commanders call the 2007 withdrawal of British troops from Basra, Iraq, “a huge mistake.” The documentary, titled, “Secret Iraq,” explores the British troops’ 2007 exit from Basra, as they handed the mission to American forces.
