Putin to run for president of Russia

In Russia, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has announced that he’ll run again for president next year. Over the weekend at a party convention in Moscow, current Russian President Dmitri Medvedev said he would step aside for Putin. Presidential elections are scheduled for March.
