More tragic news from the drug-war torn nation south of our border in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. On Saturday, three people with ties to the American consulate were shot and two killed in a drive-by shooting.

Though few concrete details have emerged, this is the latest in a long and bloody battle for supremacy in a city plagued by a civil war over the profits of a rampant drug trade. But for the latest we are joined now by Ioan Grillo, Mexico City correspondent for the Global Post.
