For our Geo Quiz – we’re giving it to you strait.

Actually we’re looking for the name of a strait. It’s the section of the north Atlantic that separates Canada and Greenland.

This waterway also links the Baffin Sea and the Labrador Sea.

These waters are downright chilly — and mostly covered with sea ice from December on to June. Northern mariners have long known about the fierce tides here.

There are old fishing villages and Inuit communities at the edge the strait scattered along the coasts of both southwest Greenland and northern Quebec.

Name this strait where floating icebergs mingle with shrimp fishing boats and bottlenose whales.

We asked you to name the body of water that separates Greenland from Canada.
