Egyptian TV today read results and analysis of Super Tuesday. This analyst talks about the great impression Obama has made on Muslims worldwide. Egyptians are in particular in favor of Obama. They know about his African heritage and that his father is Muslim. But Egyptian journalists say they want to know more about the candidates’ foreign policy stances, on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for example. Many in Egypt that should be the #1 foreign policy priority of the US. This professor says it’s time to ask what would be best for Egypt and not who would be the best in America for Egypt.
