Since 2010 Representative Henry Waxman (D-CA) has been asking the House to take on climate change. Now the majority Republicans have finally set House climate hearings for September 18, but some Democrats are skeptical the Republicans will give climate science a fair hearing.
For the past month, the EPA has aired paid advertisements on the Hispanic Radio Network. Among other topics, these ads feature what some members of Congress consider a plug for the president’s Clear Skies Initiative.
