Goldstein is the author of Properties of Light: A Novel of Love, Betrayal, and Quantum Physics, The Mind-Body Problem, and Strange Attractors. She holds a Ph.D in Philosophy from Princeton University and in 1996 was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship.
