As if enough wasn’t revealed about Casey Anthony at her murder trial earlier this month, Larry Flynt has offered her $500,000 to pose nude in Hustler magazine.
The Hustler publisher disclosed his offer Thursday night on HNL’s “Nancy Grace” show, CBS reports. In addition to $500,000, he also offered to pay her 10 percent of the profits. If the pictures went viral, Anthony could make much more than the $1.5 million she and her legal team are demanding for her first post-trial interview, he says.
“She could make millions,” Flynt told Jean Casarez, who was standing in for Grace, adding that he’s never had a desire to see Anthony naked but that a lot of other people would.
“You’ve got men that say, ‘Hey, you know, I want to see her in her birthday suit,’’ Flynt said. “So there may be some sick individuals, but that’s what life’s all about.”
A Florida jury acquitted Anthony, 25, of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee on July 5. She was found guilty of four lesser charges of lying to police who were investigating Caylee’s disappearance. The little girl’s skeletal remains were found in a swamp six months later. No cause of death was ever established.
Flynt said that if Anthony appeared in Hustler, the magazine would donate a portion of the profits to charities fighting child abuse, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
“I didn’t bring this up before because I feel like it’s sort of pandering, but we really did decide before we ever did this that we were going to donate a portion of the profits to abused children and abused children’s shelters,” Flynt said. “That doesn’t change the horrific crime or incidents that’s already happened.”
Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner has also been pressured to get Anthony to pose nude. But Hefner rejected the idea, saying, “the answer is simply no. I wouldn’t reward someone like that for what has happened.”
Flynt called his longstanding rival old school and claimed the money Anthony would get for media interviews was “chicken feed” compared to what he could get her and her team.
“If they want to get their hands on big money,” he said, “they’ve got to go through me.”
