Jenni Rivera, the beloved Mexican-American singer, was honored by thousands of fans at a memorial in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The 43-year-old diva was celebrated in an over-two-hour long musical memorial which her family called a "celestial graduation" at Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Several well-known Latino singers including Ana Gabriel, Olga Tanon, and Joan Sebastian performed for over 6,000 fans, who wore t-shirts, carried signs, and sang Rivera's songs.
The artist and six others were killed earlier this month when her private jet crashed into mountainous terrain after leaving Monterrey, Mexico, according to the L.A. Times.
