Need a social media butler for your Inauguration trip? The Madison hotel has you covered

GlobalPost

A "social media butler" is the must-have for those heading to Obama's Inauguration, it seems.

Washington's Madison Hotel has included the offer for a devoted Twitter and Facebook manager in its $47,000 "Inaugural Town and Country" package, CNBC reported.

The luxury bundle includes a 4-night stay for two in one of the hotel's Presidential suites, a private chauffeured town car that will whisk you around D.C., and a shopping spree at Brooks Brothers — because you'll want to look your best in all those Instagram photos being taken of you.

The butler in question is Victoria Devine of Anchor Media, who is in charge of keeping a "chronicle your Inaugural experience so your friends and family can follow your adventures on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest," the Drum reported

You can also leave Devine behind while you gallivant and forward along your images and tweets for uploading, which, as CNBC points out, "sounds like more work than doing it yourself."

If all this social media scrutiny gets you a little bit tense — there's also a couple's massage at the Landsdowne Resort thrown into the deal. They've just thought of everything, haven't they?
