After Bin Laden, Al Qaeda calls for DIY terrorism

Al Qaeda’s media wing has vowed revenge after the death of Osama Bin Laden, but hasn’t threatened any specific new attacks. Instead, they’re relying on followers to come up with attacks on their own. Even in the wake of twin bombings in Pakistan, Scott Shane, reporter for the New York Times, thinks the new messages could signal a weakened position for the group.
