Musician Seun Kuti Protests Against Fuel Price Rise in Nigeria

Nigeria’s government ended its generous fuel subsidies January 1, 2012.

Since then the price of gas has more than doubled and national strikes have ensued.

One of the protest leaders to emerge has been musician Seun Kuti, son of Nigeria’s legendary musician Fela Kuti.
