Stopping violence against women, doesn’t seem like there’s much to debate about?

Yet, some legislators have balked at one new provision pertaining to Native American women.

Currently non-natives who commit domestic violence on native soil cannot be prosecuted in tribal courts.

This new provision would change that.

But this is bringing up questions about Native American sovereignty.
