US soccer: Women’s National Team
Germany in on our radar for the Geo Quiz: the Women’s World Cup soccer tournament is underway. Nine German cities are hosting the games and teams from 16 countries are competing for a shot in the final that’s still 3 weeks away. Berlin’s Olympic stadium will host the final match and the other venues are:

Bochum
Frankfurt/Main
Leverkusen
Mönchengladbach
Sinsheim
Wolfsburg
So, can you guess which city we left off the list?
Not only is it the capital of Saxony on the banks of the Elbe River but it’s hosting a big game on Tuesday when the US Women’s National Team plays its first match against rival North Korea.
The answer is Dresden. Lisa Mullins talks with Globe and Mail reporter Stephen Brunt who is covering the tournament from Germany.
