News broke over the weekend that Bishop had also shot her teenage brother in 1986, but she was not charged with a crime. Also, on Sunday, the Boston Globe reported that Bishop and her husband were questioned in the 1993 case of the attempted mail bombing of a Harvard Medical School professor.
