Traveling with a medical mission in Haiti

The World

Takeaway producer Anna Sale is accompanying a medical mission in Haiti. At a hospital in Milot, 75 miles north of Port-au-Prince, many of the injured have been transferred from the capital. For some of the patients there, the biggest fear comes at the prospect of leaving.

And to keep up the spirits of patients, the hospital held a therapeutic dance party. Check out her slideshow, below.
There were girls in crutches and other injuries dancing. The nurses put on the music, and everyone came out of the tents to dance. People in wheelchairs and crutches.
