Town hall politics

Fair Game
The World

While Democrats are deciding who their presidential candidate will be, it seems Senator McCain has it all figured out. The McCain campaign had suggested the idea that Obama and McCain would travel around the country starting this summer, joint town hall appearances, joint debates, perhaps without even a moderator. Something like the Lincoln-Douglas style. If this happens, doesn’t it mean McCain and Obama would be more-or-less car pooling from town to town? If so, who gets the big bed on the Straight Talk Express? How many times will McCain awkwardly “lose his wallet” before Obama just pays for all their meals and gas? And will Obama ever hook-up with McCain’s mom? Don’t judge! What happens on the road stays on the road.
