The United Nations has approved the release a billion and a half dollars of Libyan funds which have been frozen in U.K. banks since March. “I cannot overstate the urgency of this moment,” said Secretary General Ban Ki Moon of the U.N.’s commitment to Libya. “The people of Libya are looking to the international community for help.”
