Republican leaders have named their six representatives to the so-called “super committee” including  Senators Jon Kyl of Arizona, Rob Portman of Ohio, and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania. Also appointed are  Representatives Jeb Hensarling of Texas; and Dave Camp and Fred Upton, both from Michigan. The members will attempt to work with their Democratic colleagues to trim spending and find additional revenue.
