Taxi to the Dark Side

Back in 2004 the public was shocked by images coming from the Iraqi prison camp Abu Ghraib. The government’s response – it was an isolated incident, perpetrated by a few “bad apples.” Well, a new documentary thinks there’s an orchard of bad apples who approved and secretly encouraged soldiers to use any means necessary to get information out of detainees. And it started way before Iraq – at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. The film, from the director of Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, is called Taxi to the Dark Side. Faith talks to director Alex Gibney and Executive Producer Donald Glascoff.
