As recession rages on, male sexual harassment claims go up

The World

As is often the case during an economic recession, employment litigation claims are going up. But new statistics from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission indicate that, more than ever, sexual harassment claims are being filed by men.

Justin Jones-Fosu, leadership trainer and host of partner station WEAA Baltimore’s “Listen Up,” gives us insights into how common male sexual harassment is, and advice for men who are being victimized. And Mary Jo O’Neill, Regional Attorney with the EEOC Phoenix District Office, tells us about one of the many high-profile male sexual harassment cases her office has litigated in recent years.
