This year’s meeting between the President and tribal leaders is the third such meeting, and comes with many Native Americans approving of the President’s outreach effort to their community. Sarah Deer, assistant professor at William Mitchell College of Law and a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation joins us to tell us about the President’s initiatives and what’s on the agenda at this year’s summit.
