Back in 2003, singer-songwriter Ryan Costello sold everything he owned, joined a humanitarian organization and moved to Afghanistan, where he worked with returned refugees for the next two years. When he came back to the United States, he started a band called The OaKs with his songwriting partner Matthew Antolick, and began to flesh out the songs he wrote about what he witnessed in Afghanistan. The OaKs join Faith in the Fair Game studios to play some music from their new record, Songs For Waiting.
Songs from the session:
Masood
Sins of My Father
Attraction of the Pilgrim
