We’re calling this series “In My Experience.” And today we talk with lead singer and one of the founding members of the Blind Boys of Alabama, Jimmy Carter. Founded in 1939, the Blind Boys have recorded over sixty albums, won six Grammy Awards, toured the world, and collaborated with some of the biggest stars in the industry: including Ben Harper, Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson, and Vince Gill. Their newest album is called “Take the High Road.”
