It is 20 years this week since an attempted Soviet coup tried and failed to stop the reforms of then President Mikhail Gorbachev, which lead to the end of the Soviet Union and over 70 years of communist empire. On Wednesday Gorbachev held a press conference looking back on those tumultuous events. Anchor Lisa Mullins talks with the BBC’s Steve Rosenberg who was at the briefing.
