Prominent Syrian cartoonist Ali Ferzat was beaten Thursday by masked gunmen in Damascus. In recent months, as the government cracked-down on protesters, Ferzat’s cartoons had been especially critical of the Assad regime. Anchor Marco Werman speaks with London-based writer and blogger Robin Yassin-Kassab, who has followed and written about Ali Ferzat for many years.
