Frank McCourt agreed to sell the Los Angeles Dodgers to a group led by Magic Johnson for a record two billion dollars Tuesday night. The purchase will cost nearly $860 million more than the price McCourt to buy the Dodgers from News Corp in 2004. The deal is pending approval from a US bankruptcy judge.
