All of the Democratic contenders have called for government action to address climate change, but there seems to be little appetite for that among the Republican candidates on the stump in New Hampshire, where the first primary is just a few short weeks away.
In previous election cycles, climate change has been just one of a host of campaign issues — and a fairly minor one, at that. But, as the first Democratic debate demonstrated, this year could be very different, at least among the Democratic candidates for president.
