Kurt Andersen and choreographer David Dorfman explore the tactile and discover the significance of touch for dancers, sculptors, and musicians.
Dorfman, an athlete turned dancer, is a choreographer, teacher, performer, and in 1985 founded David Dorfman Dance, a modern dance company which exuberantly combines fierce athleticism with humor and the stories of everyday life. Lauded by The New York Times as “one of our finest young choreographers,” this summer he is in residence as a teacher the American Dance Festival in Durham, NC.
