Ron Paul ad attacks Newt Gingrich (VIDEO)

The gloves are off for Ron Paul in his new ad campaign that blasts his fellow Republican presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich. The video puts together press conferences, old news clips, and textual quotes that exposes Gingrich's many contradictions throughout his campaign.

According to The Christian Science Monitor, the video is making its rounds around the social media network and has already been viewed more than 190,000 times at the time of our viewing. The ad is posted on YouTube under the title, "Newt Gingrich: Serial Hypocrisy," and puts into question Gingrich's "policy, value, and seriousness."

Set over a foreboding soundtrack, the ad reminds viewers about how Gingrich worked with Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to stop climate change, as well as his May appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press," in which he called a Republican-backed Medicare plan "right-wing social engineering."

Perhaps the most damning piece of evidence, which made headlines recently and is prominently mentioned in the video, is the fact that Gingrich was paid $1.6 million dollars in consulting fees from the mortgage company, Freddie Mac.

The ad then closes with Gingrich's own words and using it against him: "It's wrong to go around and adopt radically different positions, because then people have to ask themselves, 'What will you tell me next time?'"

As one comment from a viewer, johnjfox, puts it, efforts to spread this video among Paul supporters is clear: "Ron Paul supporters better start promoting this video in the next few weeks. There are literally three weeks to make the case against Newt, because then it's christmastime [sic] and right after it's Iowa."
