Move over Kate Middleton and your royal wedding, Pippa Middleton just signed a $600,000 book deal to write about planning royally rocking parties.

Middleton signed the deal with Penguin’s commercial imprint, Michael Joseph, to write “How to Be the Perfect Party Hostess,” the Guardian reported. The book will include recipes, anecdotes and instructions for different types of events, the Daily Beast reported.

Middleton was in the midst of a fierce bidding war by some of Britain’s top publishers for her very first book, the Daily Telegraph reported. The negotiation process revolved around the book’s release, which will be next fall after the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. According to the Daily Telegraph, this timing was decided on so Middleton “is not seen to be cashing in our her royal connections.”

The six-figure deal has caused a buzz in the book industry, which indicates Middleton’s agent David Goodwin expects to rake in high sales, the Daily Telegraph reported.

“It is a massive amount of money, particularly in the current environment,” said one agent to the Daily Telegraph.

But this isn’t the start of Middleton’s career as a writer. She already contributes to an online magazine for her parents’ Party Pieces company, the Daily Mail reported. This plus her experience as a professional party planner at Table Talk, a London-based company, has convinced publishers that Middleton is the perfect person for the job.
