Mike Tyson says he got female prison official pregnant

Mike Tyson, the former boxing heavyweight world champion, has claimed got a female prison official pregnant while serving a 10-year rape sentence in Indiana.

"Iron Mike" made the revelation during an ESPN interview to hype his one-man Las Vegas show yesterday, but failed to name the woman or offer further details.

While talking about details omitted from his six-run show Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth — Live on Stage, at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, he revealed topics he left out of the show, including the pregnancy comment, the New York Daily News reported.

He said: "I didn't talk about getting a jail official, a prison official pregnant and stuff."

The 45-year-old hinted that the pregnancy was terminated, saying: "She had no baby."

Tyson was convicted of raping an 18-year-old beauty queen and was in 1992 sentenced to six years in Plainfield Correctional Facility. He was given a 10-year sentence but released in 1995.

In the interview, he also said he left out how he came to have a tattoo on his face, or how went from $300 million to bankruptcy, or his morphine addiction.

"I just liked morphine," he told ESPN's Rick Reilly, "but I had to take a lot of it because it didn't stay in your system for a long time. … And I'd have my cocaine, and I had my marijuana, and I had my Cialis and Viagra and my little friends all sitting there. That's just how I lived my life."

In 2011, The New York Times profiled Tyson at his Los Vegas home with third wife Lakiha (known as Kiki) and two children, Milan and Morocco, writing that these days he was a vegan and usually in bed by 8.

"The gold caps on his teeth are gone, as are the frenzied trappings of celebrity: the nonstop partying, the cars, the jewelry, the pet tiger, the liters of Cristal," the article read.
