A new kissing device helps keep long-distance couples in lust.
The Kissenger device allows couples to send long distance kisses wirelessly using pressure-sensitive plastic lips.
According to the New Scientist, the machine, unveiled at an interactive design conference in June, looks mysteriously like a Mr. Potato Head and uses sensors and actuators to mimick the lips of, well, the person who kissed it.
The sensors then send a signal to the partner's Kissenger, shaping the lips in the way it was kissed.
"People have found it a very positive way to improve intimacy in communications with their partners when they are apart," said Hooman Samani of Singapore-based Lovotics, which created the Kissenger, according to Digital Trends.
Another, earlier device made in Japan, allowed couples to send tongue kisses to each other.
